Update to request posted November 27, 2013

To briefly summarize Bill had a couple of Oncologist appointments since and they were conflicting. Ranging from stage 4 cancer in his right lung, liver, hip and kidneys to something much less serious. This news came just before Christmas, but then he sought additional counsel and received conflicting news. Since that time he was given a full bone scan and a torso MRI. This below is the latest news and we are taking this as an answer to prayer. I must say that both Bill and my sister Norma arrived at a place of complete surrender amidst the turmoil of the past two months. They are both completely resigned to enjoy life in each day as it is granted from the hand of God and that whatever occurs that it will bring glory to Him alone. They hope and pray for healing, but whatever happens they are at peace.

"Bill's condition was downgraded from Stage 4 to Stage 2 since the MRI shows that the growths in his lungs, kidneys and liver are just cysts and not metastasis from the GIST tumor. There is still concern for the spot on the hip. The date for surgery to remove the cancerous tumor has not been set as of yet.

Thanks for praying, we believe this is an answer to prayer."

Thank you to so many from our WRBC church family that have been supporting us in prayer.
