Whyte Ridge Baptist Church Weekly Update
Prayer Walk this Sunday at McGillivray Property
“When we depend upon organizations, we get what organizations can do; when we depend upon education, we get what education can do; but when we depend upon prayer, we get what God can do.” A. C. Dixon
This Sunday we are asking our congregation to gather with us at the McGillivray property to pray specifically for God to provide a resolution for us and our neighbors (Fort Whyte Alive and Lafarge) concerning the drainage of our land. Until an agreement is reached on this matter we cannot proceed with building.
We have permission to gather at the Thomas Design parking lot from 10:30-11:00 and 12:45-1:15 for corporate prayer led by the pastors and church Board.
Please bring boots and suitable attire, and join us as we lift this matter to the Lord in prayer.

Building Project Prayer Requests:
Pray that Fort Whyte and Lafarge would agree to WRBC’s request for McGillivray property drainage into Lake Muir.
As numbers firm up for the final costs, pray that we are able to lessen the gap in financing and that discussions with the Steinbach Credit Union are favourable.
Pray for the Building Committee as our Church enters into a formal construction agreement with Thomas Design Builders. This will involve decisions regarding sub trades and managing all aspects and costs of construction.
Pray for wisdom upon the Building Committee and Thomas Design as they fine tune/redesign the plans in an effort to meet the budget for the project.
