Upholding Whyte Ridge Baptist in prayer and fasting.
The goal of the prayer ministry at Whyte Ridge Baptist is to stand with and provide a foundation of support for those requesting prayer. A very practical means of accomplishing this goal is through a prayer chain, or in our case, a prayer wall. A prayer wall is a place where those God has placed within our congregation along with their network of relationships and friends can share their requests and encouraging support of others prayers on their behalf. As requests are received, our prayer coordinators are alerted and then distribute your prayer request to our church family according to your instructions. So how can I get involved and serve in this life-sustaining ministry of prayer? Here are a few ways:
Commit to pray regularly
Make a commitment to pray consistently and regularly for the needs of the Whyte Ridge church family and our community. By doing this, you will be linking arms with others in our congregation to form a powerful voice directly to the heart of God.
Submit and View Prayer Requests
To view and pray for our most recent prayer requests, please visit our online prayer wall. You can submit your prayer requests by filling out the form at the top of the page. If you are a part of our church family and would like to register to receive notification of new requests posted to our prayer wall, please visit our email signup page.
Add Fasting to your practice of prayer
An excellent tool to help you engage in safe and effective fasting and prayer is a resource written by Bill Bright. His “Your Personal Guide to Fasting and Prayer” can be found on the CRU website (Campus Crusade for Christ in the United States). Click here to read the resource online.
I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. – 1 Timothy 2:1 (NLT)
