Serving Opportunities
English Conversation Circles (ECC) – Help newcomers to Canada adjust to life in their new home. Involves expressing friendship to new immigrants and engaging them in English conversation. Must be interested in learning about life experiences, cultural practices, and traditions from a different cultural lens. No experience in language training required.- Meeting Needs – Organizing ways in which individuals or families in need can be helped by Whyte Ridge Baptist people.
- Summer Carnival – Help by being involved in Whyte Ridge’s Summer Carnival.
- Love Winnipeg – Helping organize or participate in various service projects in the local community of Whyte Ridge in spring.
- Christmas Card Campaign – An annual event in which individuals are encouraged to give financially towards local, provincial, and foreign mission projects. Opportunity to help in organizing, set up, manning the campaign table in December, etc.
