UPCOMING EVENTS AND CURRENT NEWS:

As we approach Thanksgiving weekend, we are reminded of God’s faithfulness and goodness over this past year.  God has blessed us with financial health in our general fund, exceeding our goals for the Capital Fund and financing two missions trips. We recognize that many of you have been stretched in your giving during this same period, and for this we also give thanks.

Traditionally, at Thanksgiving, our congregation has a special offering to meet needs in our community or around the world. However, this year, there will be no special offering at Thanksgiving.  There is certainly no shortage of needs within Canada and around the world, with recent hurricanes, earthquakes, wildfires and flooding.  Some of you may be hearing God’s call to give to such causes from the abundance with which He has blessed you. If you are considering giving to support charitable work in our community or around the world, then we pray that the Lord will lead you to a worthy cause to support. Many well-respected and reputable charitable organizations have options to give directly to their work.  May the Lord bless you as you respond to His call.
