Reminder: 2023/24 4HG Youth Ministries Update!

Hey Parents and Youth,

A quick reminder of some of the events we have planned for the weeks ahead, as well as a reminder to fill out some of the required paperwork needed going into this next season! 

Before we get started we need Parents and Guardians to fill out this form for each individual child that would like to attend throughout the year. Please fill it out before bringing your child to the first event of the year.

We will be meeting weekly on Friday nights at 6:45pm to 9:15pm (unless otherwise indicated) for community, playing games, eating snacks, spending time in small groups, and most importantly, growing in our understanding of Jesus, who He is, what He did, what He does today in our lives, and how we can build a relationship with our creator!

We also have a special event on the horizon, as the Manitoba Baptist Association is putting on a Retreat for any student grade 6 to 12 at Camp Nutimik from September 22nd to 24th. The price of which will be $100 per person. You can find the interest / pre-registration form here.  Please indicate your interest in attending immediately (payment will be arranged at a later date).

Our First event of the New Year is our Corn Maze Kickoff on September 8th at ‘A Maze in Corn’ We will meet at the Maze for 630pm until 830 pm, the cost is $13 per person, there will be S’mores, Hot Chocolate, a Petting Zoo, a Bonfire, and a good time with people your age! Hope you can make it.

It’s the end of the School year, and with that, it is the end of the Youth Year as well.

We want to celebrate our Youth this coming Friday with some pizza and games, as well as say good-bye to our Grads.

4HG Youth In-House

Hey all! Hope you’re enjoying the warm days as school winds down! This week  (Friday,  June 16) we’ll be meeting at church again for some games,  worship in music,  small group time,  and ice cream sundaes! Hope we’ll see you all there at 6:45!

Next week (June 23) will be our final event before the summer,  so we’ll have a year end party at the church.  More details next week. 

Keep your eyes open for info on summer events,  as those will look  a bit different,  but there will be things happening!

Hey All!

I hope you all do well. We have some big things this week so it’s important to read the full email :D

This Friday we are meeting at LASERTOPIA @ Unit #5 – 1140 Waverley Street  make sure you fill out their online waiver (found Here) otherwise you won’t be able to join us.
Cost is $15 a person.

On Saturday our Mexico Team is offering a Coffeehouse at the Church from 6pm to 9pm. Come, bring your friends, have some coffee, baked goods, and some Live Music.

4HG Youth May 19 UPDATE

Hey All,

Our plan for this Friday was to head to LaserTopia for some lasertag, this had to be changed on short notice. We will still be going, but NEXT FRIDAY (May 26th). There will be a form coming within the next few days for you to fill out.

This Friday (May 19) we will be at the Church! Please let other people know who might not see this email!

4HG Youth April 21st

Hey Peeps,

We’ve had a few weeks of craziness, and I’m so excited to see you all this Friday and just able to hang out and spend time together.

We will be meeting at 6:45pm for time with Jesus, each other, snacks, and games.

Next Week: Friday April 28th we have another guest Speaker: Amy Owzarek, who will be talking with us about dignity and sanctity of life.

4HG Youth April 14th

Hey Peeps!

Hope you had an introspective and celebratory Easter Weekend! Jesus has risen!

I can’t wait for Friday this week, we will have a guest-speaker named Dustin Martin. Dustin is involved with the admission process at a school called Providence University College, and he will talk to us about walking in the will of God and what that can look like.

I hope to see you Friday at 6:45pm!

We have another guest speaker coming up on the 28th of April, her name is Amy Owzarek and she works with an organization called ‘Life Culture’ and will help us step into a conversation about the sanctity and dignity of life!

Hey peeps!

Hope you’re living in hope of Spring this week! The Sun is getting warmer, and I’m so excited that with the change in seasons there are awesome things coming for 4HG as well.

This coming Friday we will be meeting at McDermot Avenue Baptist Church (821 McDermot Ave) at 645pm for a Camp Nutimik Worship Night! We’ve had those before, and they’re incredibly uplifting and always gets me excited for the summer.

4HG - March 17 and Retreat Day Registration

The retreat day is from 9am to 5pm.  If you have not registered, registration is now due as of last night if you have yet to register.  We will be going bowling for part of the day.  Contact me if questions.
