On Saturday, Dec 14th you’re invited to join us for our Family Christmas Party out at Miracle Ranch. We’ve booked their Ranch Lodge from 2 pm – 5 pm and have sleigh rides scheduled for 2 pm and 3 pm. After your sleigh ride, come into the lodge for a cup of hot chocolate and a hotdog. We’ll also take some time to sing a few Christmas carols together!

Tickets are $10/person or $30/family and include one sleigh ride for each person. They can be purchased Sunday mornings at the info center or downstairs by the SONSeekers registration table. During the week, tickets can be bought from the church office.

PLEASE NOTE: Because seats on the sleighs are limited (~25 adults), tickets are for a specific sleigh ride (i.e., 2 pm or 3 pm) and will be sold on a first come, first served bases.

Only five minutes north of the Floodway. From Winnipeg go north on Hwy 59 (Lagimodiere Blvd.), turn right (east) onto Garven Rd., go 1 km, turn right (south) onto Lorne Hill Rd. and go 1/2 km to the Miracle Ranch Entrance.

Exploring the theme of Living in 3–D with God, Camp Nutimik campers were invited to see and experience either a new or deeper relationship with God. Some of those campers were from Whyte Ridge Baptist. You can read more about their summer at Nutimik, or you can watch the video – you just might see some of our kids and great time they had at camp this past summer.

We are looking for a leader to organize and lead this year’s Fall Carnival. If a person or Small Group is interested in organizing this event and providing an alternative place for kids to hang out on October 31 please contact Daniel Penner dnlpenner@netzero.net or 204-474-1274.

November 2-3, 2013. Women of all ages are invited to the Whyte Ridge Baptist Church Women’s Retreat at Gimli Lakeview Resort and Conference Centre, 10 Center Street, Gimli, Manitoba. We look forward to our time of learning and exploring God’s word together with our guest speaker, Lisa Elliott.

Lisa Elliot is a gifted speaker and author. Her ministry has impacted and touched the lives of men and women alike at conferences, retreats, and special events.

In her book, The Ben Ripple, she chronicles the journey their family went through during and after the lost of their 19 year old son Ben to leukemia. In sharing with us on the weekend, Lisa will draw from that experience in her talks on the theme of Hope for the Journey. (To read a sampling of the book, go to Amazon.ca)

Lisa is described as being real, refreshing, vivacious and personable. She has a love for the Lord that is contagious and has a passion to share from her own experience the life-changing truths of God’s Word.

Lisa is a graduate of Ontario Bible College (Tyndale). She is married to David and together they have served the Lord in pastoral ministry for 25 years. Dress For Mess

Friday, September 13^th 7-9 PM

Come dressed to get dirty, sticky and wet. Parents note: Please ensure kids wear old clothing (may not be returned to its original state). Bring an extra change of clothes and your friends! Cost: $2.00

In House

Friday, September 27^th 7-9 PM

We will be meeting at the church for an evening of games and ice cream! We will be spending some time discovering who God is and how to get to know Him. Please bring your favourite ice cream topping.

Corn Maze

Friday, October 11^th 6:30-9:30 PM

Bring your friends to Amazin Corn. We will find our way through the corn maze and end up at a bonfire. Drop off and pick up will be at the church. Cost: $10

In House

Friday, October 25^th 6:30-9:00 PM

We will be meeting at the church for a night of mini sticks & sardines. Please bring a mini stick (and extra’s if you can). Please also bring a can of tuna to support Lunches With Love.

M.A.D. (Make a Difference)

Friday, November 8^th 7-9 PM

We will meet at the church to pack shoeboxes for Samaritan’s Purse. Please bring items to put in a shoebox and $2.00 to contribute to the shipping. Cost: $2.00

Lasertopia

Friday, November 25^th 7-9 PM

We will meet at Lasertopia for an evening of laser tag, popcorn and pop. Drop off and pick up will be at Lasertopia. Cost: $15

We meet at the church to have a Christmas party full of games, snacks and fun!Please bring a $2 gift for the Gift Exchange Game as well as your favourite Christmas baking/snack! Cost:$2.00

Beginning September 8, 2013 and continuing through to the fall of 2014, Whyte Ridge Baptist will be studying the New Testament book of Ephesians and the Old Testament book of Joshua. Once again, materials for LifeGroups will published each week and be available through the church office for minimal price of $15.00 (binder and material) or can be downloaded each week free from the website. Study & resource materials for each message in the series we be attached to the specific message in the series on the sermon page. These can be found under the “extras” link at the bottom of each sermon’s graphic. Materials will be posted on the Friday before each message is preached.
