Relationally Based Discipleship
Our purpose at Whyte Ridge Baptist Church is to nurture followers of Jesus Christ through healthy relationships. Acknowledging this, though we cannot create friendships for others, we aim to create a variety of environments where Christ-honouring friendships can either begin to form or continue to develop.
Our key ways of reaching this goal are through:
LifeGroups: LifeGroups are the primary means by which we want to encourage our church family to take intentional steps forward in relationally-based discipleship. We desire that, through LifeGroups, we will gain a better understanding of what it means to live as the body of Christ in our day and age. Read the brochure to learn more about LifeGroups. If you’re interested in being a LifeGroup Facilitator please contact Pastor Doug.
Church-wide Events: An important part of friendship is having fun and laughing together. With that in mind we plan a number of events each year to help us connect at that level (at least once/season) Some of our past events have been: curling bonspiels, a night of tobogganing, variety nights and hosting both summer and fall carnivals for our church family and the communities we live in.
LifePath Seminars: LifePath seminars are conducted on a regular basis through the year. Watch the church calendar and news updates for when and where, or register below.
Come to the Table: Come to the Table is a Weekly Gathering at Whyte Ridge Baptist Church. For the latest updates, visit our Come to the Table page.

Precept Bible Study: Mark – for Men and Women

Mark – The Gospel of Jesus Christ, Son of God and Son of Man (9 Weeks)
The most important question you will ever answer is this: Who do you believe Jesus Christ is? With all the opinions floating around – He’s a good man, a teacher, a prophet, the Son of God – how can you know who is right? Mark’s account of Jesus’ life gives you the answer, and it’s more action-packed and fast paced that the other three Gospel records. Rather than rehearsing what people said about Jesus, Mark shows you what Jesus actually did. As you learn to carefully observe Mark’s report, you’ll discover that Jesus left no doubt about who He claimed to be. His miracles demonstrated His authority over sickness and infirmity, spiritual darkness, dead religion, threats from nature, and even death itself.
Wednesday nights – January 14 to March 11, 7:00-9:00pm, Main Auditorium
Book Choice: In & Out (less homework) or Precept Upon Precept (more homework)
Register Online Starting: December 21: Mark- The Gospel of Jesus Christ, Son of God and Son of Man (9 Weeks)
