Dear Church Family

Please continue to pray for my sister Maria. She's battling stage 3 colon cancer.

The chemo treatments are making her very sick. She's now hospitalized.

Please pray for God's mercy and to reduce the pain and to bring her comfort. Also, pray that my sister will use this trial to draw closer to Jesus. She has asked for prayer, that's a wonderful breakthrough. All glory to God. Please also pray God will continue to give me strength as I juggle home life and work.

The treatments to slow the cancer in Tim's body have proved unsuccessful and have been stopped. Tim has now entered the palliative stage. Please pray for endurance, peace and comfort for this leg of the journey. We want to finish the race well. Thank you.

My mom’s eldest sister, Brenda, passed away on Friday morning. We would greatly appreciate your prayers for peace and comfort, and for our travels as we go back to Ontario for the funeral. We have the assurance that she is now in heaven with her loving Heavenly Father. Thank you for remembering our family, and especially my mom, in your prayers.

2 updates (praise items).

2025 was a challenging year for our family as Ramona had 3 eye surgeries and ended up with a pretty satisfactory result. We thank God for His care of us during this time, and the healing and restoration of her eyesight.

Also, last year our son-in-law (Noah) was working on a barn roof when it collapsed. His sternum and 3 fractured vertebraes have healed well. He may yet need surgery for his foot. Noah and us are grateful to the Lord for this event, as it has brought Him closer to God. There have been many blessings brought on through this tragedy. He still has some pain in his back. We pray for what career God has in store for him. God has kept our family and even helped us flourish during this time. For this we are eternally grateful. Praise God!

Hi,

Please pray for my husband, and I and our marriage. We are struggling. Please pray for us to be open to God's wisdom and that we can open our hearts to forgive, listen and build a stronger relationship together. We are starting therapy and please pray that this will help us as well. Thank-you.

Thank you Whyte Ridge Baptist Church prayer warriors, Heather and I have just returned from another doctor appointment with fantastic news. All her levels are receding and everything is starting to return towards normal. Heather has more energy now and is feeling better. They still have some 'tinkering' to do but everything is looking good. This is a huge praise report for answered prayer, thank you all so very much.

Our Neice, Desirae, rolled the car she was driving early morning Sat. December 6th. She was not found for about 3 1/2 hours and was hypothermic, unconscious and in cardiac arrest. She was on the cpr machine for 5 hours and has internal injuries. The family was told to say their goodbyes.

Update: Unfortunately we just got news that the family is discontinuing life support as they were told there is no hope.

Please pray for those left behind.

Yesterday, we saw the oncologist regarding Tim's recent declining health and got the results of the CT scan and bloodwork done in the past 10 days. The news is not great. Unfortunately, the pancreas shows another tumour which is growing rapidly. It is currently 5 cm in size. We were presented with the following options:

1. Do nothing except manage pain, nausea and fatigue. The average lifespan for this option is approximately 5 months.

2. Start another chemotherapy regimen. This would be done weekly, 3 weeks out of 4. The objective is to slow the cancer growth and ease the symptoms. If successful, this would buy us roughly a year. We have chosen to try the chemotherapy and it could start as early as next week.

Please pray for us as we learn to live while dying, grieve while giving thanks.

Thank you to all the prayer warriors who have been praying for my wife, Heather. We get the notices when someone has prayed and this means so much. I wish I could give a praise report as to a healing, however, God is using this time for us to learn more to lean on Him. We have spent many days going to specialists and testing so far, with more coming up on Wednesday. So far, we are no closer to finding out what is causing these issues but remain faithful. We are so appreciative of you all. I do apologize for not sending this sooner, please accept this apology and continue praying. Thanks

Thank you for praying for me re:

Insomnia and a new doctor

I have found a new doctor.

Trusting that she and my specialists are able to understand my conditions and treat appropriately.

I am very suspicious of heart failure. However, it’s very treatable and I believe God will work this out too.

Receiving attention from a homecare nurse once/week

She is contacting my new doctor

regarding compromised circulation in my lower legs

I need compression stockings

May God continue to bless you all as together we trust Him for abundant life.

Our best friends son-in-law had a tumble off his mountain bike last night. He has completely fractured his T8 of his vertebrae and has multiple ribs fractures, torn all the ligaments between everything and the broken parts are pressing on his spine but it doesn't look like there's any actual spinal cord damage. He is currently in the OR (Saturday August 15).

Please pray for wisdom for the doctors, strength for the family and speedy recovery
