Please pray for Quinton and Beth Giesbrecht. Quinton is one of three guys from the Christian Motorcyclist Association who have attended our church recently and become friends with some of us. Quinton and his wife Beth were in a serious car accident on Saturday. Beth suffered a crushed collar bone and Quintin has a broken arm, femur, ankles, and feet. Please pray for them on the difficult road to recovery. Also please pray for the family of the 19 year old man who lost his life in the other vehicle in the accident.

Update from Paula Loewen: Lyle is home and resting comfortably. He can resume normal activity and doctor will see him in a year (Providing there's no recurrence).
God is good all the time, but we are really happy that Lyle has been discharged after echocardiogram showed no damage to his heart!

Please pray for the Loewen family as Lyle went into Kentville Hospital in Nova Scotia with the diagnosis of atrial fibrillation. His heart has been reset and returned to regular beating. PTL.
Now they are waiting for an echocardiogram to find out more.

Brenda McDaniels
The funeral for Theodore (Ted) Steinbrenner, Brenda McDaniels' father, will be held at Meadowood Manor, 577 St. Anne’s Road on November 4, 2016. There will be a viewing at 12:00pm and the funeral service will take place at 12:30 pm. The manor has requested that family and friends park across the road at the St. Vital Centennial Arena at 580 St. Anne’s Road.
Ted has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Meadowood Manor Foundation.

Praise God that my dad was discharged from the hospital this past week and is now recuperating at home! Please continue to pray for him and for my mom as the medical team continues to discern what appropriate next steps should be in regards to medication, etc.

I am having surgery on Oct. 5th to remove infected bone around my right ear. I had radiation therapy following cancer which diminished the blood flow in the bone and eventually killed it.
Please pray for pain management and healing prior to and after surgery. Knowledge and guidance for the doctors.
For my wife and children to be strong and rely on God thru this ordeal.

From Erika Cooper: Thank you for praying for my mom, Elfriede Reschke. She has pulled through the third surgery well, and is showing some improvement. She has been moved up from the ICU to a step-down unit. Please continue to pray for her long recovery, as it is a long road ahead yet.
Please also pray for my Uncle Ewald, who had cancer surgery on Tuesday to remove his esophagus. He is presently in critical condition.

Thank you so much for your answered prayers for my nieces Christine and Natalie.
Christine's test result came back showing no malignancies A big false alarm. praise God
Natalie's test results show that what they thought might be growth in the tumours in her brain are actually inflammation. This changes the approach they will take. She will continue with her immunotherapy, but may require surgery to deal with the inflammation.
This is that kind of news that is good on one hand, but not so good on the other. Please continue to pray for her.
