A few days back John Tkachuk was not doing well, not wanting to wake up, and was taken to St. Boniface with hopes of removing some of the fluid around his stomach, legs and lungs. When the paramedics came they said his vitals were fine except for low oxygen levels. Fortunately, they were able to get those levels back up to a healthy range.
The doctor at St. B. said there was not much that could be done for John and that he would be sent back to Meadowood with Comfort Care to help him during the last days.
John is back at Meadowood and seems to be doing better but is not out of the woods.
Ada was able to be with him today from 10 am - 3 pm. She said that John is no longer having bad dreams and seems more peaceful. They continue to covet your prayers.
