From Donna Hartle - Update on my mother, Elsie Muir (from this week end):
CT scans of the brain and back showed severe arthritis throughout her lower back. Brain scan showed severe degeneration of both the front and back. The doctor was not hopeful that she will improve enough to go back to her former residence and will need to go into a PCH. They have started her on Hydromorphone regularly for the pain which seems to be helping. At least she had a better day yesterday. Your continued prayers for her are greatly appreciated as they try to get her stronger and stabilized, and that they figure out the right balance for pain management. Also pray for us as we try to choose the best PCH for her, etc.
