I would like to ask for prayer for my cochlear implant surgery which will be on Wednesday May 24 at 12 noon at the Health Sciences Centre, Dr Jordan Hochman surgeon. It is about a three hour surgery and I will be intubated and under a general anesthetic. However even though there will be about 28 staples in my head after it is considered day surgery so I will be going home in the evening. My sister has flown in to stay with me during the first week of my recovery. Please pray for the whole surgical team and recovery care and that the incision will be clean without any complications. In particular that the facial nerve and surrounding areas won’t be affected and that he might save any residual hearing in my left ear as he was able to do when I had the right ear done in 2021. Also that the incision will heal clean without too much pain. I appreciate your prayers. Thank you!
