I prayed for this

Prayed for 32 times.

Tim Dick

Follow-up to my prayer request of Jan 18th. The doctor writes that the ERCP results of Jan 18th suggested that this is a tumor of the head of the pancreas. Results from my MRI on Jan 21st are pending. The doctor-consult is being postponed from today (Jan 23) to Feb 8th to allow for doctor's review of MRI results and other colleague input.

I’d also like to share the following thoughts in this: I'm not disturbed about the delay for the consult, it's more that I'd just like to know what the tests are showing. I've been feeling better yesterday and today, and many of the symptoms are starting to decrease in severity and frequency. I am at peace with God in my circumstances, He owes me nothing, but He gives me grace that is enough as always. Your prayers, and those of many others, are deeply felt. I don't take for granted the fact that, though people pray, still some live and some die (and eventually we all die). But what I never want to lose is the knowledge that God is good, even when I don't understand. A couple of phrases that have been on my mind are 1) "To everything there is a season..." (Ecclesiastes 3), 2) God's grace is sufficient for me.
