Glenn Parker
From Glenn Parker: My brother, Bruce Parker, is still at IICU at HSC (his 9th week). The doctors are treating it like Guillain-Barre Syndrome. He now knows we are with him, understands what we say to him, and can make facial expressions and slightly nod his head or shrug his shoulders to communicate. We, including Bruce, know its going to be a long recovery including rehab. Last week his left arm moved and he has a bit of tingling in his legs. A challenge is his lungs!! We're praying that once the GBS starts to recede that his lungs will get stronger as well. Our 92 year old Mother seems to be taking this well, although she hasn't seen him.
