4HG Youth December 5th

Hey All! 

We are in December! It is so exciting to get this close to Christmas already! I hope we get lots more snow until then, but for now… Let’s enjoy the opportunities we have to get together and have fun with Jesus at the center!

This week we are NOT meeting at the Church, instead we will meet at Flying Squirrel (1250 St James St) at 6:45pm to 8:30pm! 

Make sure you bring:
$20 for entrance
Grippy Socks (can be bought there if necessary)

Also make sure you’ve filled out the Flying Squirrel Waiver and the Church Form BY WEDNESDAY, that way we know you’re coming! 

Re: Christmas Hampers:  We are doing Christmas hampers on December 12th so please check with your child on what they signed up to bring, if you are unsure, or if you missed last week and would like to join, reach out to the small group leader, they will have that information.

Camp Nutimik Family Winter Camp

Camp Nutimik is running a family winter camp on the weekend of February 13-15th. This weekend will include opportunities to cross country ski, snowshoe, skate, enjoy the tube slide onto the lake, and spend some meaningful time by the fire playing games and doing family focused devotions. Gingerbread Bash 2025!

Hi parents and friends!

We’re throwing a Christmas celebration that your family simply can’t miss!
You’re invited to our 4th Annual Gingerbread Bash on Saturday, December 6th at 5:45 – 7pm. 

You might be wondering, “What exactly is a Gingerbread Bash?”

Well, it’s a gingerbread nativity-building party that’s perfect for the whole family. Along with creating and decorating your own gingerbread nativity, you’ll enjoy games, singing, hearing the Christmas story straight from the Bible and discover how the greatest gift EVER came in the most unexpected wrapping — Jesus!

Whether it’s your first Bash or you’ve joined us before, this gospel-centered event is the perfect way to unwrap the joy of Christmas with your family. 

Don’t forget to wear your favorite ugly Christmas sweater! (there will be prizes!)

You definitely don’t want to miss out on all the fun, so be sure to register!  This is a limited capacity event and we usually sell out. So don’t wait to register!

Mark Your Calendar for our Annual Christmas Events!!!

Gingerbread Bash at 5:45 pm – more details to come! Separate registration forms will be available.

Dessert & Variety Night at 7:30 pm

Limited Seating so register early!

Cost: Adults (11+) $10 each
Children (6 – 10 years) $5 each
Children 5 and under – free.

Register & Pay by November 26 at the Welcome Centre on Sunday or at the church office.

WRBC Food Bank Hampers

WRBC Foodbank Christmas Hampers                                   

Our WRBC Foodbank is collecting Christmas Hampers to give to the 120 families (30 families/wk) who visit our foodbank.

A suggested shopping list is provided (est. cost $70-$90).

Partial donations towards hampers are welcome too!

Hampers needed on 4 Sundays. Sign up for: Nov 30th, Dec 7, 14 and/or 21st

Kids at the Ridge Program Registration – September 2025 to August 2026

Registration is now OPEN for our Kids at the Ridge programming for September 2025 to August 2026. This is for all children in Nursery up to Grade 6.

This information is required by insurance to be completed each year for each child attending our kids programming throughout the year.  

NEW: We have updated our registration form to make it easier to register multiple children in a family, so please make sure to follow the instructions on the form to register your children!
