Whyte Ridge Baptist Church wants to bless the moms who visit our church partner, Family Support Centre(FSC), coming up this Mother’s Day! FSC Ministry has been around for over 40 years in Winnipeg supporting moms with counselling and practical help such as baby clothes, diapers and formula for their newborn babies and young children.
We will have a table set up in the foyer for April 26, May 3 & 10 (Mother’s Day) where you can drop off gifts especially for the moms and/or their babies. See the list below for suggestions. Socks, lotion, journals or a $10 gift card will encourage these moms as they celebrate this Mother’s Day. Items for the babies are always welcome such as baby formula, newborn sleepers, soothers, blankets and baby care products. Please only new items for the babies!

The EFC is encouraging us to contact members of the Senate in regards to Bill C-9 (Combatting Hate Act). While the EFC supports the intent to protect religious sites, it opposes the removal of the “religious belief defence” which threatens religious freedom and sincere faith expressions.
On behalf of our Justice and Mercy (JAM) Team, we would encourage you to call a member of the Senate (preferred) or personalize the message in this letter from The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada Bill C-9 and send as an email (the second reading could begin as early as April 13th). Join us at Illumination Station this summer for our Kids at the Ridge VBS Camp Program this summer from July 20-24 from 9am to 12pm. This camp is for kids entering kindergarten to grade 6. (Optional afternoon add-on event on Thursday afternoon).
We hope you’ll join us for the brightest week of the year! At Illumination Station, kids will explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals while discovering that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world!
Experience the Bible in a hands-on way through interactive Bible stories, games and crafts. Snacks are provided.

This winter we are trying something new with CTTT. Instead of having a weekly meal each Wed till Easter (10 suppers), we’ve decided to have CTTT the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month until May 6th (8 meals)!
This change will allow us to enjoy CTTT into the spring while lessening the load of our Kitchen teams.
If you’re interested, we’d love to have you join one of our four CTTT Kitchen teams (generally serving twice a season). Just express your desire to a kitchen staff and they’ll help make the needed connections from there.

Who We Are:
Whyte Ridge Baptist Church (WRBC) is a warm, welcoming and growing community of multi-cultural, multi-generational believers who love Jesus and one another. With an average weekly attendance of 400 people and ten staff, our mission is to nurture followers of Jesus through healthy relationships. Over the last 60+ years, WRBC has preached the Word of God faithfully to our community, our city, and the world, actively seeking to grow followers of Jesus Christ. Following God’s leading, WRBC has relocated four times and undertaken three building projects, most recently moving into our current location in 2019.
Who We Are Looking For:
WRBC is looking for a Lead Pastor who is an expository preacher who values relationships. He is able to see the “big picture”, an intentional and careful planner who will take the initiative to lead us in unity towards the future we believe God is preparing for us (and preparing us for).
